Weberstown Mall ‘Falls’ into the New Season with Festive Family Events

Community celebration will offer exciting activities for adults and kids alike

Stockton, CA (October 14, 2021) – The seasons may change, but Weberstown Mall remains committed to providing Stockton community members with a dose of family fun through the town center’s upcoming fall events. Whether families are looking for a kid-friendly candy crawl, a new way to experience Halloween, or an opportunity to celebrate the tradition of Día de los Muertos, Weberstown Mall will offer a variety of onsite events.

“We’re thrilled to once again offer special ways to connect with others and experience the festivities of autumn at Weberstown Mall,” said Melissa Gomes - General Manager at Weberstown Mall. “We hope guests enjoy this season’s offerings, such as Candy Crawl and Día de los Muertos.”

Candy Crawl offers families a fun, interactive location for kids to sport their best costumes and trick-or-treat. Weberstown Mall and participating retailers will provide kids a safe space to trick-or-treat on Halloween from 5pm-6pm. Guests will also enjoy the opportunity to decorate their own candy bag 4pm-5pm with KidX Halloween prior to the mall wide Candy Crawl.

Weberstown Mall will allow guests to experience the tradition of Día de los Muertos on November 6th noon-3pm. During this traditional Mexican holiday, it’s believed that the border between the spirit world and the real-world dissolves. Families celebrate their deceased loved ones by leaving the deceased’s favorite foods and other offerings at gravesites or on the altars (ofrendas) built in their homes. The special event at Weberstown Mall will celebrate cultural elements, while honoring those who have passed before us, and will include: a Community ofrenda, live music, folklorico dancers, kid crafts, food and more.
